On June 23, 2020, Decree-Law No. 28/2019 was promulgated imposing new rules and, consequently, on procedures related to Invocing.
Within these new rules and procedures imposed, we highlight:
- The revocation of the communication to the Tax Authority of billing systems and establishments.
- The regulation and entry into force of the communication of Invoicing series, single document code (ATCUD) and Two-dimensional Barcode (QR Code).
It should be noted that the amendments imposed by the Decree-Law will entered into force since July 1, 2020.
Reduction of response times in the CC Folder of the Order of Chartered Accountants
CC folder is a computer platform that aims to facilitate communication between OCC members and the order itself. It aggregates several features, some of which the receipt of documentation given in the formations, provide access to requirements for the pension funds, access to the score statement, registration for the company on the spot, allows to verify the current status of quotas, the issuance of receipts and change of personal data of the CC.
Given the functionalities and importance of the CC Folder, the Governing Board of the Order of Certified Accountants decided to establish deadlines for answers.
Deadlines relating to administrative questions will be answered within 5 days; Technical and legal questions the deadline for replying is now 10 days; OCD online questions will be answered within 7 days.
Extension of banking moratoriums in the pandemic.
Due to this pandemic crisis in which the world finds itself, in Portugal a large number of companies and families have benefited from banking moratoriums. In view of this situation, the government has chosen to extend the moratorium period in an attempt to relieve businesses and families.
It should be said that companies benefiting from these moratoriums have to pay interest on loans. All companies will benefit from the extension, since this, the most affected companies have been suspended the payment of capital as well as the payment of interest.
For families who have lost income they may have the benefits and interest payments suspended until 30 September 2021.
As of April 2020, thousands of families do not pay house credit and are benefiting from the decree-law issued by the Government. Decree-law that allows moratoriums on housing credits.
